Smoking Policy for Guests
Smoking of cigarettes is permitted only in designated smoking guest rooms located on level 23 and 24, and in designated outdoor smoking areas.
Smoking and vaping of any kind are prohibited in all other guest rooms, suites, public areas, restaurants, meeting spaces, and throughout the remainder of the hotel premises.
Cannabis and cannabis-derived products are strictly prohibited throughout the hotel, including designated smoking rooms and designated smoking areas.
A cleaning and recovery fee equivalent to one night's stay at the prevailing room or suite rate will be charged for any violation of this policy. Additional charges may apply should further cleaning, repairs, or loss of revenue be incurred.
Guests are reminded that smoking cannabis and vaping tobacco in public are prohibited under Thai law and may result in penalties imposed by the Thai government, including fines and/or imprisonment. Current cannabis regulations in Thailand permit the production and consumption of cannabis solely for medical or health-related purposes, supported by a medical certificate, and not for recreational use.
As such, the smoking of cannabis and the vaping of tobacco products are not permitted at InterContinental Bangkok. Only cigarette smoking is permitted in designated smoking guest rooms on level 23 and 24 and in designated outdoor smoking areas.
