InterContinental Bangkok is delighted to present a special collaboration with award-winning pastry and chocolate maestro, Chef Lawrence Bobo, for an indulgent afternoon tea experience at Balcony Lounge. The Malaysian virtuoso, renowned for winning the World’s Best Chocolate Showpiece title at the 2015 World Pastry Cup, has crafted an exquisite menu featuring his signature dessert creations.
Guests can enjoy an array of delightful savory bites, including artisanal sandwiches, tarts and quiche but the true highlight is the selection of sweets designed by Chef Lawrence. His artistry shines through in his iconic Black Forest chocolate gâteau, alongside innovative pastries and bon bons—all prepared by the talented pastry team at InterContinental Bangkok using his expertly curated recipes. Chef Lawrence will be at the hotel for an intensive training session with the pastry team. His expertise will guide the team in perfecting the preparation of his creations, ensuring every dessert reflects his signature craftsmanship.
While often pushing creative boundaries, Chef Lawrence also honors tradition with classic scones served alongside strawberry and orange preserves and fresh cream—offering the perfect ending to an unforgettable afternoon tea experience.
