Cool Khao Chae Chow Wang at Balcony Lounge
Fragrant “Khao Chae Chow Wang” – the traditional Thai summer treat with a regal history – is back on the menu at Balcony Lounge.
Once served exclusively in the Royal Palace, today it is a seasonal Thai specialty enjoyed by all as a cooling summertime indulgence. Lightly perfumed and very refreshing, it stars aromatic rice steeped in iced jasmine water, which is eaten with a variety of piquant condiments such as sweet shrimp paste, stuffed shallots and sweet pork floss. It really is a dish fit for a king!
