This immersive tasting experience features five distinctive labels from five countries, offering a fun and relaxed opportunity to explore how terroir, climate and winemaking traditions shape the character and personality of this captivating grape variety.
Flying the Pinot Noir flag for both Old and New World producers is a fine 2021 example from the Riversdale Estate in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley; a 2023 vintage from the Wairau River winery in Marlborough, New Zealand; a 2023 Pinot Nero by Franz Haas in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy; a 2020 bottling from the Anderson Valley estate in California, USA; and finally, a 2024 pressing from the Tracy & Cie winery at Les Marnes in France’s Loire region.
Expect an evening of engaging storytelling, wine lore and expert insights on the subtle nuances, diverse styles and remarkable versatility that make Pinot Noir a favourite among wine enthusiasts.
